GIRLS BKB: STANDISH 50, CLARE 40
After a year away from basketball, Keeley Peace is back on the court.
And her game is quickly rounding back into form.
Peace poured in 17 points to propel Standish-Sterling to a 50-40 victory over Clare in Jack Pine Conference-1 action.
The Panthers shook off a 23-20 halftime deficit, going on a game-swinging 17-6 third-quarter run to spin the game. Adi Walker tallied 11 points and Jensyn Machala 10 in the win.
Kyley Wyman led Clare with 14 points.
